About Us

HDS Ultrasonics Ltd

About the founder owner of HDS Ultrasonics: Harry Singh.
Every fragment of history be it a painting, an architectural structure, a precious letter or document, or an Egyptian artifact, has an incredible story that must be told. Our past and our future are entwined in an almost metaphysical way. This applies to every corner of the world, and to every culture, it is our world heritage.

Why do I do what I do?

I do what I do, because I can.
It is my humble way of playing a small part in what is truly, a never-ending story. It is my way of merging my passion for both technology and history to perpetuate the never-ending story for the generations to come.

About the company:
We are a London based company and are manufacturers and suppliers of specialized ultrasonic equipment designed specifically for paper conservation, established in 1990.

Our products include the HDS Keeper range of ultrasonic document encapsulating machines, as well as our lightweight and portable ultrasonic spot welder.

Recently we have also been working with the V&A to investigate the possibility of using ultrasonics to clean/remove stains from historic textiles.

Our products can be found in numerous institutes globally, including many National Libraries. We maintain an absolute commitment to quality and reliability backed up by our full after sales services.
Over our many years of service, hundreds of thousands of archival and historical documents have been reliably encapsulated by the HDS Keeper.

Although we are not conservators, we have consistently worked with many institutes to listen to the needs of conservators in our continued efforts to develop all of our products so that they fulfil their purpose efficiently and effectively.

We offer our products and services to provide a gateway to the latest technology for the benefit of the conservation community, to allow them to continue their valuable work.
